Katherine Arden

Katherine Arden Burdine (born 1987) is an American author known primarily for her Winternight trilogy of fantasy novels set in medieval Russia. These books have garnered nominations for the Hugo and Locus Awards. Arden has also written the Small Spaces series of horror novels for middle grade children. The first in the series, Small Spaces, won the Vermont Golden Dome Book Award in 2020.
